The Second Cup: Coffee for Your Heart

Coffee for Your Heart with Holley Gerth

With Holley Gerth

Hello, beautiful!

Don’t look away shy.

Yeah, I’m talking to you!

You are beautiful.

No need to put on make-up.

No need to look like you have it all together.

You are beautiful just as you are. Inside. Outside.

Created in the image of God. Made to shine forth His light.

You are as unique as each new fallen snowflake on a chilly winter’s day. There is no one like you. NONE. Nobody can do what you do. Nobody with your smile. Nobody with your eyes. Literally. Your iris is as unique as your finger prints and so is your retina.  Nobody has the same laugh. Nobody with same mixture of personality characteristics and experiences and talents as you.

God made you specifically to be as you are to reflect His glory.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14

And wonderful are His works.

As you sip on your coffee today think on this truth of how the Lover of your soul sees you:

Behold, you are beautiful, my love; behold, you are beautiful; your eyes are doves. Song of Solomon 1:15

Enough to make you weak in the knees. Good thing your sitting with your coffee. 😉

    • Thank you and thanks for reading! It is good for us to remember in whose image we were created. When I read things about how our bodies work it really leads me to praise! Wonderful are His works!! Blessings in Christ. 🙂

  1. ……Nobody with your smile. Nobody with your eyes. Literally. Your iris is as unique as your finger prints and so is your retina. Nobody has the same laugh. Nobody with same mixture of personality characteristics and experiences and talents as you…… that’s the part I loved the most. made me pause and actually really think about it. thank you; I’m encouraged 🙂
