Welcome to In the Potter’s Hands! I am a Christian and my goal is to share my journey of faith on this blog as candidly as I can. If you’re like me, at times this walk is bumpy filled with frustrations. Being molded in the Potter’s hands can be rough!

Some posts will be like journal entries and others like devotionals, but I hope what you read will bring encouragement. Feel free to leave comments. Let’s share our faith!

Just to share a little about me…I am tempted to start rapping The Fresh Prince of Bel Air’s theme, but I’ll spare you. Besides, I wasn’t born and raised in Philly. haha! I was born and lived part of my life in the North (USA).Β  The last half of my childhood is in the South. Love, love, love the South! I am a southern girl without the accent. πŸ™‚

I am a riddle wrapped in an enigma who uses both sides of my brain. I can be quite analytical and at other times creative which makes for somewhat ofΒ  confusing, schizophrenic moods at times. Not literally. But you know what I mean. I’ve been a believer in Jesus Christ for 20 something odd years, and it is He who makes me who I am today. Thank God for that cuz left to myself who knows where I’d be today!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Blessings in Christ!

  1. Isn’t this a fantastic opportunity we have been given? We have world-wide access…and don’t have to leave our homes to get the Word out.

I’m looking forward to reading more of your posts.

1 Peter 4:10,11 Welcome to the wonder-filled world of “oracles!” πŸ™‚

  2. Just a quick note … I know you follow me on Boxes from the Heart … I am revamping the blog and you might want to temporarily “un-follow” me … I have to repost a ton of stuff and don’t want to bug with that in your reader 😦

  3. “Thank God for that cuz left to myself who knows where I’d be today!” I (and any other follower of Christ) can definitely identify with this sentiment. I praise God that He created us not to fend for ourselves in a broken world, or to wallow in the consequences of the poor decisions we make, but to love and share His glorious kingdom with us. πŸ™‚

    • Thank you so much, Amanda Christine! What an honor! I have to accept because I love fields of flowers with their wild beauty! It looks like they seemed to sprout up any where and it reminds me of how God can bring beauty to anything. Thanks again! And blessings to you! *hugs*

I accept though it might take me awhile to post it. I’ve got a few others waiting for me to post. I’m a little slow. haha!! πŸ™‚ Thank you so much! Blessings in Christ!

  5. Dear createdbythepotter,

Thank you so much for all the lovely comments you’ve been leaving on my posts! So glad to finally get here and learn more about you. πŸ™‚

I was wondering if you’d be willing to write a short endorsement/recommendation for my blog. I’m starting to take my writing more seriously, and to hopefully have a career in it in the future, and it would be so helpful to have the support of people from all walks of life! Let me know what you think. πŸ™‚ What others have said: http://www.karenwriteshere.com/endorsements
